Electronic Deceleration System (EDS) and dynamic sheet control infeed oven
Vacuum controlled transport of the sheet into the oven for both tinplate and aluminium sheets without surface or edge damage. Slowing down the sheet while entering the oven inlet with vacuum instead of the usually applied magnetics brake. Thus, the transport works out more smoothly and also cleaner, for the magnets are often collecting iron and dust particles.
The EDS system takes care for slippage free transport of the sheets precise positioning to the wickets of the oven. The speed belt of the EDS can be controlled independently. When a sheet is detected the EDS will run for X mm and positioned very precisely onto the wicket. The vacuum pump and vacuum valve ensure a decent grip on the belt. The vacuum on the belt can be adjusted according the actual position of the oven.
Electronic Acceleration System - E.A.S. for taking out sheets from oven
Vacuum controlled transport of the sheet from oven to stacker. The outfeed of the oven is provided with a servo-driven vacuum belt that accelerates the sheets to the line speed of the stacker. This ensures there is no hard contact between a sheet and an already running belt. The outfeed monitors the sheet movement and detects if a sheet is not transported as the next wicket arrives. The oven is then stopped and the outfeed belt lowered. This prevents wickets from being bent as a result of a crash.
The E.A.S. system is provided with a servomotor. The E.A.S. system takes care for transporting of a sheet from the outlet of the oven to the stacker. The vacuum ensures grip on the sheet. The EAS will adjust automatically to the actual speed of oven and stacker for optimum efficiency.

New line controls enabling the synchronization of the complete sheet transport system from inside the main control. This main control contains a safety CPU and a number of servo drives. A virtual axis is created where all axes will refer to on which a stable reference signal will be the base for the transport. Features of the control system enable modules to be controlled while retaining the overall control of the line. Examples of this include the stopping of the coater while the oven continues to run and also the running of the lacquering machine while the oven has a standstill.
The synchronisation of the complete transport is controlled inside the main panel.
The HMI screens provide information about the complete line, synchronisation, burners steering ( incl. PID control). The HMI logs the burner information and alarm. Through a trend screen it is possible to view the history of the complete line, and every data point is directly available for MES / ERP Systems.
A VPN connection can easily be setup for servicing mode, each and every component can be reached from a secured connection.
Certified Burner Control
Conversion of a standard LTG burner control to a MultiBloc burner control. The burners can produce around 10% extra power under good conditions and safe 10 tot 15% less gas consumption. All burners are in accordance with NEN-EN 676 standards and are CE compliant. Each burner unit is standardly fitted with a separate air pressure monitor. The system ensures more control and safety, logging possibility and communication with other systems above.
Double stacker vacuum and/or magnetic operated:
With this upgrade we modify an existing restacker into a restacker that will transport the sheets from oven outfeed into one, two or three differed boxes without damaging the sheet from oven outfeed till the sheet is dropped. The transport can be taken care of into two different solutions. vacuum belts or electro magnets. The outfeed of the oven is equipped with a servo driven vacuum belt, so that when a sheet is detected, the belt will accelerate to the necessary line speed of the double stacker, this means that there is no contact between a sheet and already running belt. The double stacker will detect the end of the sheet and will position the sheet precisely to its drop point. The sheet will be released exactly onto an pallet without scraping each other. To correct slip the drop position can easily be adjusted. With the new line control safety can be guaranteed and implemented into outfeed an infeed systems.The system can be expanded with more boxes to stack.
As showed on the drawing outfeed can be equipped by a heavy duty conveyors and turntable designed by Veldkamp.
With this device you are able to align the package before rolling it in to the feeder. It’s pneumatic controlled by 2 cylinders. For different sheet sizes the device can be adjusted by rotating the handwheel at the back. Used for all kind of sheet sizes including scroll sheets.
In factory displacement of Oven
Movement of the complete tunnel oven without dismantling panels and burners. If the oven has to be moved, for example to put a printing machine between feeder and coater, this can be done without complete dismantling. An important advantage of not having to dismantle panels and burners is to avoid issues of asbestos removal.
